Dr Saralaya graduated in 1999. He trained extensively in Respiratory Medicine and has done an MD in Asthma and treament of severe Refractory Asthma.
Dr Saralaya now runs the largest asthma clinic in West Yorkshire for "difficult" asthma cases and has pioneered the use of Anti IgE therapy in severe allergic asthma in his NHS practice based at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
In 2003 Dr Saralaya was awarded the British Lung Foundation travel fellowship to visit the Unites States to enhance his skills in treating difficult asthma patients.
Dr Saralaya is also a principle investigator in large multi-centre trials in newer therapies for COPD and has an interest in sleep apnoea, running one of 3 centres in West Yorkshire treating patients with obstructive sleep apnoea.
Dr Saralaya is a very keen sports enthusiast and follows cricket and football. He travels regularly and enjoys reading history.
