Professional profile:
I graduated in 1983 from Nishtar Medical College in Pakistan. I came to the UK in 1989 and finished postgraduation in general surgery in 1991. Following that I trained in plastic surgery in the UK and Ireland and obtained FRCS(Plastic) in 1998. I have a number of publications in plastic and hand surgery journals. I have visited Atlanta, USA to obtain experience in cosmetic surgery and have had several consultant posts before starting as a consultant at Castle Hill Hospital in Hull.
Personal profile:
I am actively involved in research and further clinical publications. I am a member of a medical team providing a charity medical service in the Third World countries. I am also a keen golfer.
