I qualified at University of Edinburgh Medical School in 1990.I trained as a Houseman and Senior House Officer before becoming a Senior Registrar in Yorkshire and subsequently a Lecturer at the University of Leeds.Subsequently I spent two years at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney Australia. I was appointed as Consultant in Hull and East Yorkshire NHS Trust in 2000.I am the Royal College speciality tutor and Senior Director of Clinical Studies for the HYMS Medical School.
