    Taleb Jeddy is the lead surgeon for endocrine surgery at Basildon University Hospital and performs a large number of thyroid and parathyroid operations.

    Mr Jeddy has performed more day case (ambulatory) thyroid operations (both partial and total thyroid removal) than any other surgeon in the UK. He has carried out day case thyroid operations since 2001.  His results have been presented at various national and international congresses of ambulatory and endocrine surgery in the UK, Europe and the USA including at the World Congress of Ambulatory Surgery in Boston.

    Mr Taleb Jeddy has a special interest in performing laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery for groin hernias. He is actively involved in training other consultant surgeons and in performing extraperitoneal hernia repair.

    Mr Jeddy is also experienced in performing laparoscopic gallbladder surgery (cholecystectomy) and laparoscopy adrenalectomy. He has been performing daycase laparoscopic cholecystectomy since 1999.

    Mr Taleb Jeddy also performs complex vascular surgical procedures such as carotid artery endarterectomy, abdominal aortic aneurysm repair. For varicose veins he offers surgical treatment and endovenous laser treatment at Spire Hartswood Hospital.
