Dip Mukherjee was appointed as a consultant surgeon in 2003 and has established his practice predominantly as an oesophagogastric and laparoscopic surgeon. He has a special interest in heartburn and reflux problems.
Mr Mukherjee's other clinical work involves major oesophagogastric and colon cancer resections and complex laparoscopic surgery. He performs a substantial number of upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopies and participates in day case surgery. He also provides emergency surgical service when appropriate. He is a teacher and trainer of GI and laparoscopic surgery.
