    Mr. Papanastasiou qualified in Greece in 1988. He came to the UK and entered surgical training in 1991. He obtained the FRCS in 1994 and has been working in NHS plastic surgical departments since 1995. He holds the European qualification in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.

    Mr. Papanastasiou has had specialist training in Hand Surgery at St. Andrews¿ Centre, Chelmsford and at Great Ormond Str. Hospital and holds the Diploma of the Federations of the European Societies for the Surgery of the Hand.

    Mr. Papanastasiou is a consultant at the Lister Hospital, Stevenage providing a general plastic surgical service along with specialist hand surgery. He also attends outpatient clinics and day surgery lists at Bedford Hospital.

    In his private practice, Mr Papnastasiou carries out a wide range of aesthetic procedures including breast augmentation, breast reduction and mastopexy (uplift), abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), localised liposuction and facial plastic surgery (facelifts, eyelid surgery, prominent ear correction and rhinoplasty). In addition he offers non-surgical rejuvenation procedures. Patients with skin cancers, various benign skin lesions and a wide variety of hand conditions are also welcome.
