Background Information
Professional profile:

I aim to provide a cardiac service which is easily accessible, friendly, comprehensive and centred around patient requirements.
I trained in medicine at the University of Manchester and in interventional cardiology and complex pacing at Harefield Hospital.
My practice covers all aspects of general cardiology including investigation and management of ischaemic heart disease, hypertension, arrhythmias and valve disease.
My subspecialty interests include:
Interventional cardiology
This involves the assessment and treatment of ischaemic heart disease by coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention (angioplasty).
Pacing and complex devices
This involves implantation of permanent pacemakers for the treatment of abnormally slow heart rates and more complex devices (implantable defibrillators and biventricular pacemakers) in the treatment of heart failure and life threatening heart rhythm disturbances.

Personal profile:

I live locally with my wife and 4 children. My eldest two children attend St. Georges School in Harpenden.
