      I trained in the management of breast disease in the Edinburgh Breast Unit where I still hold a consultant appointment and I run a full NHS service in the Borders. In addition, I received specialist training in colorectal disease at St Mark's Hospital, London. I carry out the standard range of general surgical procedures, including hernia and varicose vein surgery.
