I studied medicine at Oxford and Cambridge. I also spent a period of time as a teacher in anatomy at Cambridge University before undertaking general surgery training for the FRCS qualification. I then specialised in plastic surgery; training in several units including Cambridge, South East Thames and Edinburgh. Along the way I spent some time in research at the renowned Medical Research Council in Cambridge. I trained in the subspecialty of cleft lip and palate surgery in Cambridge, Edinburgh, Billericay and Great Ormond Street Hospitals as well as visiting several units abroad. I was invited to join (and am at present) a primary surgeon with the supraregional cleft team in Cambridge. I am currently working to establish a fully intergrated multidisciplinary skin laser service based at the Spire Cambridge Lea.

My special interests within cosmetic private practice extend to

Facial surgery: facelift, necklift, browlift, eyelid blepharoplasty, nose reshaping or rhinoplasty, prominent or bat ears.

Cosmetic breast surgery: breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lift (mastopexy), gynaecomastia.

Body contouring: abdominoplasty, liposuction and ultrasonic liposuction, thigh and arm lifts.

My hobbies include painting and drawing, astronomy, computers, cinema, martial arts (Shodan blackbelt).
