Professional profile:

I am an Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeon and my major interests are in benign and malignant diseases of the oesophagus and stomach and laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery. The diseases I treat include cancer, gastro-oesophageal reflux, achalasia, gallstones and hernias of all types.  I trained in Southampton, The South West and Oxford regions before becoming a Consultant in Cambridge. 

 I am a member of the BUPA consultant partnership.

Personal profile:

I live with my wife and two children in a small village outside Cambridge. My interests include amateur photography and information technology. I run and swim regularly for leisure and to keep fit.
