After training in London and Toronto, I moved to Brighton in 2000. My practice consists entirely of joint replacement surgery and its complications, including wear and infection.
All implants used, including ceramic ones, reach the standards set by NICE. Small-incision surgery, intensive physiotherapy and good pain control allow rapid mobilisation and an early discharge home.
For the great majority of patients the surgery is uneventful and their quality of life afterwards is excellent. If complications arise they can be managed promptly, safely and successfully.
