I was awarded my MBBS and Master of Surgery in India. After obtaining an FRCS in Edinburgh, I worked in both general surgery and breast surgery. However, for the past 15 years I have concentrated on breast care, involving both screening and symptomatic patients.
As an oncoplastic surgeon, I incorporate a wide range of procedures to achieve good cancer and aesthetic outcomes when performing breast cancer surgery. I perform primary breast reconstruction following mastectomy with implant and biological mesh. When patient choice and clinical indication allows, I performs LD muscle based reconstruction with or without implant and lipomodelling. For symmetrisation and also for aesthetic reasons, I perform breast reduction, augmentation and lipomodelling.
For the past five years I have been a consultant breast oncoplastic and reconstructive surgeon at Morecambe Bay University Hospitals NHS Trust, Lancaster. I have recently moved back to the south coast and currently hold a similar position with Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust, Brighton.
I regularly attend national and international conferences in my special interest areas to keep abreast with innovative techniques and new developments. I have a passion for teaching the next generation of doctors and was previously an honorary lecturer at Lancaster Medical School.
I aim to provide care in a personal and holistic way. I discuss cases in multidisciplinary team meetings in order to provide patients with a tailored and effective management plan to achieve excellent long-term outcomes. I pay meticulous attention to minor details and my patients, staff and colleagues appreciate my good aesthetic outcomes.

Personal profile
I live in Worthing with my wife and have two grown up daughters. I enjoy dancing and dance as if no one else is watching. I spend my spare time swimming and golfing. My approach to surgery is similar to my approach to golf: head down, concentration and with a good follow through.
