I then completed my specialist registrar training in the Liverpool region and underwent further fellowship training in advanced hip and knee surgery at Wrightington lower limb unit before taking up my consultant post at Warrington and Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. I am actively and regularly involved in teaching the undergraduate and postgraduate students and I have also taught at the basic science course held in Wrightington. My clinical practice covers all aspects of adult musculoskeletal problems. My main interest is in hip and knee surgery particularly primary and revision arthroplasty and arthroscopic surgery of the hip and knee. I have a thesis which was published in 1999 entitled 'complex injuries to the mid foot'.
