COVID rehabilitation clinic

The clinic offers a consultant-led assessment, diagnosis and rehabilitation. The initial consultation aims to establish rehabilitation needs using a multidisciplinary team consisting of Consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine, Dr Polly Baker, our physiotherapists and Occupational Therapist, Maxine Haylock.

If you are worried about one or more of the following problems after suffering from COVID then you may wish to attend our clinic:

• Fatigue
• Breathlessness
• Decreased mobility
• Pain
• Anxiety
• Wanting to optimise your function or return to a sport or activity that you used to be able to do before your infection

1. Initial Zoom consultation with Dr Polly Baker. She will go through a screening questionnaire and can, depending on the symptoms the patient is suffering from, provide some simple management strategies. If appropriate, Dr Baker will then recommend if a full consultation is required.
2. A full consultation with Dr Baker, Occupational Therapist Maxine Haylock and a physiotherapist
3. Diagnostic testing including ECG test, chest X-ray and blood tests*
4. A bespoke plan consisting of physiotherapy and/or occupational therapy sessions*

*These tests and sessions will be dependent on your individual needs following your full consultation. You may need a combination of some or all of these tests and will be advised how many sessions to expect.

What happens after?

After your initial assessment, you will be given a bespoke rehabilitation plan which is likely to include:

• Further tests or investigations eg blood tests
• Occupational therapy sessions
• Physiotherapy sessions
• Goal setting, lifestyle management and exercise prescription.
• Referral to a relevant Consultant specialist dependent (such as a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine) on diagnosis

If you need to see another consultant, or need any further assessments or treatments, additional fees will apply.

The price of your treatment will depend on your individual needs. You may need a combination of some or all of the below. After your screening questionnaire and initial consultations, we will be able to provide you with a price for your following diagnostics and treatment. Our guide pricing for the service you may require are as follows:

• Screening questionnaire and consultation with Dr Baker - £100 (zoom/tel call)
• Initial consultation with Dr Baker, Maxine Haylock and a physiotherapist - £400
• ECG - £59
• Chest X-ray - £129
• Blood test package - £150
• Physiotherapy/Occupational therapy - £50 per 30 min session
