I was appointed as a Consultant in Diabetes and Endocrinology at the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust in April 2008. Prior to taking up this full-time appointment, I worked at both St George's Hospital and Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust as a locum consultant.
I qualified in 1995 from Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital and completed my specialist training in the SW Thames region. During my training I developed an interest in cardiovascular diabetes and obesity. I also have an interest in thyroid disease and completed an MD in 2007 at the Royal Marsden Hospital and Institute of Cancer Research.

I take pride in ensuring all of my patients are well informed of their diagnosis and management plan through active engagement. I am a keen sportsman and golfer and take every opportunity to improve my handicap! I have a passion for cricket and skipper my local Sunday team. My club were champions of the Surrey Downs League 3rd and 4th Division for the last two successive years.
