Specialises in
I have been a general practitioner for the past 20 years. Through my hospital posts and extensive general practice work I have gained a wealth of experience in the diagnosis and management of the widespread range of conditions and concerns that present to general practice. Having worked exclusively in Tunbridge Wells since 2007, I have also built up an in depth knowledge of the most appropriate local consultants and services to refer patients to when secondary care is required.
Following completion of my undergraduate medical degree at St George's Hospital Medical school in 1997, I worked in various hospital training jobs including medical, surgical, obstetric/gynaecology, and casualty posts. I subsequently undertook my GP training year in Bristol and have worked in general practice ever since, initially as a salaried GP but later as a partner and then senior partner in a local Tunbridge Wells surgery.
In addition to my work at Spire Tunbridge Wells I provide NHS general practice services at the Urgent Treatment Centre (formally the Minor Injury Unit) at Sevenoaks Hospital. Working alongside advanced nurse practitioners, paramedics and physiotherapists I consult with patients who present with a large range of acute medical problems.

Away from medicine I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter, baking, swimming at our local pool, travelling (when I get the chance) and walking our King Charles Cavalier, Toby, in the many beautiful settings that surround Tunbridge Wells.
