I have been a consultant spinal surgeon for 9 years specialising in diagnosis and treatment of issues relating to the cervical and lumbar spine including adult degenerative surgery, minimal invasive surgery, spinal infections and trauma related cases. My practice follows recommended pathway by the British Association of Spinal Surgeons including MDT (multi disciplinary team meetings) and new consent processes. I also adhere to new private Healthcare information network guidelines PHIN.
I specialise in diagnosing, managing and treating back and neck problems. This covers all aspects of spinal degenerative issues including posterior lumbar fusions and anterior lumbar fusions (in conjunction with a vascular surgeon). Minimal invasive surgery, cervical surgery including disc replacements, kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty, spinal trauma and infections, lumbar micro discectomy and decompressions, laminectomy and spinal injections.
Discectomy and decompressions - 500 plus procedures, Lumbar fusions - 500 plus procedures, Kyphoplasty - 300 plus procedures, Cervical spine surgery - 200 plus procedures, Injections to the spine - 9,000 plus procedures.
