I am a Consultant Plastic Surgeon specialising in hand and wrist surgery, correction of abnormalities in children, paediatric plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery.
In terms of hand surgery I treat all forms of trauma including fractures and tendon injuries, arthritis, nerve problems, wrist injuries including scaphoid fractures and deformities.
In the field of cosmetic surgery I'm particularly interested in breast reshaping; body contouring including tummy tucks, liposuction and buttock enhancement; facelifts, eyelid reduction and ear reshaping, and non-invasive treatments such as botox, fillers and threadlifts.
In paediatric plastic surgery I look after patients with hypospadias, hand differences and skin lesions.
I have performed over 3,000 operations on the hand and wrist. I have performed over 250 cosmetic surgery operations.
I qualified as a doctor in 2000 and began training in plastic surgery in 2003, studying in some of London’s most prestigious units including the Chelsea and Westminster, Mount Vernon, the Royal Free, Queen Victoria and St Andrews in Chelmsford. I was awarded my fellowship in plastic surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons in 2012. I undertook advanced fellowships in Reconstructive Cosmetic Surgery and Hand and Wrist Surgery, culminating in the European Diploma of Hand Surgery in 2014. I was admitted to the specialist register in plastic surgery in 2016.
During my training I undertook a research degree investigating ways to reduce scarring of the skin. I also visited leading international units, such as E’Da Hospital in Taiwan, the Kleinert Institute in Louisville and Santander in Spain.
