I am a Consultant Cardiologist and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Imperial College London. I work at Frimley Health NHS Trust (Wexham Park Hospital) and the Royal Brompton Hospital, London. I qualified from Guy's and St Thomas' Medical School in 2001 and I was awarded a PhD in 2012 for research into early imaging markers of cardiovascular disease, particularly in individuals of Indian Asian ethnicity. I have published >30 original research articles since 2007 on a range of epidemiological, imaging and clinical areas.
I am clinical lead for cardiac imaging at Wexham Park Hospital, and have accrued extensive experience in exercise and dobutamine stress echocardiography. I also have extensive training in cardiac MRI and coronary CT angiography. I have particular expertise in the assessment of patients with ischaemic heart disease, structural heart disease and valvular heart disease. I also see patients with a wide variety of cardiovascular problems and symptoms such as chest pain, breathlessness, palpitations/arrhythmia, valve disease, hypertension, patent foramen ovale (PFO), heart failure, cardiomyopathy and raised cholesterol.

I have 2 young children who keep me busy but when permission is granted, I play cricket competitively on Sundays. I also enjoy snow-boarding, swimming and golf.
