Spire Sussex Hospital reception staff raise 50 shoeboxes for underprivileged children

20 November 2015

Two members of the Spire Sussex Hospital reception team, Kirsty and Steph, have managed to raise an amazing 50 shoeboxes full of toys, toiletries and essentials for the 'Love in a Box' shoebox appeal.

The shoeboxes, donated by staff, friends and family are sent to under privileged boys and girls between three to 15 years children across Eastern Europe. Last year Kirsty managed to raise 33 boxes by herself and wanted to achieve a higher number this year.

Kirsty and Steph are delivering the boxes to The Mustard Seed Relief Mission warehouse where they will then be shipped to the children. Kirsty and Steph will also be volunteering half a day in the warehouse, helping check and pack the boxes.
