I have been a Consultant Knee Surgeon since 2014 and I specialise in sports related knee ligament injuries and knee arthritis. I am an expert skier and have a special interest in skiing injuries and returning patients to sport after injury.
I have surgical expertise in all aspects of knee surgery including reconstructive surgery for ligament and meniscal injuries (including ACL reconstruction, revision ACL reconstruction, meniscal repair). I perform Mako robotic partial (unicompartmental) and total knee replacement surgery for arthritis. I will tailor your treatment to your specific problem, and will offer non surgical as well as surgical solutions.
I perform 150 knee arthroscopies, 75 ACL reconstructions, and 40 total and partial knee replacements a year, many of those Mako robotic procedures.
I undertook an internationally acclaimed knee surgery Fellowship in Australia at the North Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre, under the mentorship of Professor Leo Pinczewski. I also completed a national Fellowship in knee surgery. I was appointed as a Consultant Knee Surgeon in 2014 at St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, London. From 2018 I manage my own private medical practice specialising in knee injuries and knee problems.
