Expert care for everyone

Caring for you is our passion. It’s our commitment to you.

The highest standards

We pride ourselves on reaching the highest clinical excellence, with patient care at the heart of everything we do.

We're here to look after you

You'll be cared for by a team of medical specialists that are dedicated to getting the best results for you. Your treatment will be personally tailored, with your choice of consultant, location and timing.

How quickly can I be seen?

You can see a specialist consultant almost straight away, pretty much when and where you want. With Spire, there is hardly any waiting for tests, scans, investigations or appointments. To make an appointment, all you need is to be referred to one of our respected specialists via your own GP, or we can arrange a private GP appointment for you within 24 hours.

What to expect at our centres

At our Specialist Care Centre we go above and beyond to ensure your day stay is as comfortable as possible. As a dedicated cancer centre specialising in both chemotherapy and radiotherapy, we understand that your treatment can take its toll. We are able to offer a daily menu of sandwiches, cakes, snacks and a selection of hot and cold drinks as well as facilities such as hot showers and complementary therapies to help you feel refreshed during and after your treatment. Friends and family can visit almost anytime however, we do ask that children under the age of 16 years are accompanied.

Coming into the centre

We work hard to make your time with us relaxed and as comfortable as can be. If there is anything that will make your stay with us more comfortable please do let our centre coordinator know when making your booking and we will do all we can to facilitate your request.

While you’re with us

Radiotherapy treatments will take on average 20 minutes per day and in this time we can provide you and your guests with a selection of teas, coffees and biscuits as well as magazines, newspapers, free WiFi and a comfortable reception area for your guests to relax in while they wait for you.

Chemotherapy can take between 90-120 minutes per treatment on average; because of this we offer a selection of sandwiches, cakes and snacks for you and your guests, as well as the facilities to freshen up before you leave if you should wish to.

Visitors

We have flexible visiting hours to fit around your life and the people who love you.

Visitors are welcome to accompany you, and we have complimentary WiFi and refreshments available for them whilst you have your treatment.

We politely request that due to the nature of the centre, all children under the age of 16 years are accompanied by an adult at all times.

Meeting your needs

Whether you're using health insurance or paying for treatment yourself, we're here to look after you. Everyone has access to the same high quality care and equipment.

Further information

Patients with a disability

Recognising the needs of every individual, all of our hospitals and centres are accessible to everybody, so we welcome visitors with disabilities. Spire takes its responsibilities under the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (DDA) as employers (Part II), and service providers (Part III) very seriously.

Our goal is to recognise the needs of every individual and to provide health and care services that are appropriate, respectful, inclusive and equal. We always try to meet the needs of any visitor to our buildings. We provide patient information in a variety of formats, including large print and audio versions, and we seek to ensure that our buildings, access routes, signage and lighting meet the needs of people with disabilities. We are also able to offer 4 disabled parking spaces adjacent to our reception area for your convenience.

Children

Children are always welcome in our centres and they can visit you whenever you like, but we do ask that due to the nature of the centre any child under the age of 16 years is accompanied by an adult at all times.
