As a Centre dedicated to the treatment of cancer we are well equipped to carry out a number of treatments. Our highly experienced team are always on hand to offer further information and reassurances should you have any questions about your treatment.

A snack while you receive your Chemotherapy

We’re proud of the quality and taste of the fresh food that we offer our patients. We've partnered with a local caterer who will prepare fresh sandwiches, cakes and snacks specifically to order, offering a wide selection including special dietary requirements – such as halal, kosher and wheat free options. Your visitors are also welcome to dine with you; we can provide them with snacks along with tea, coffee and filtered water.

Spire care doesn’t end after you leave

Even after you’ve left our Specialist Care Centre, we’re still here to help you every step of the way. Please let a member of the team know if you require any additional help when you leave.

After your treatment

We’ll send you home with all the medication, advice and follow-up support you’ll need to help get you back on the road to good health. We might be able to help with transport and care for you in your own home if you need extra support after you leave us. And if you have any questions or worries about your recovery, just give us a call. We're here to help.

Pharmacy formulary

Specialist Care Centre, Chelmsford is guided by the formulary and decisions made by the Local Health Community Formulary Board Medicines Management Board for the clinical indications that we are contracted to treat.

Sometimes the thought of going home to continue your recovery can be daunting if the right support isn’t there. We have partnered with a number of charities who can provide aftercare as well as some complementary therapies after your treatment has ended. Our team will discuss this with you while you receive your treatment or you can ask our team on reception for further information at any time. We might be able to help with transport and shopping too, in case loved ones are unavailable and you need extra support at home. Just give us a call.
