The facility has a dedicated Toshiba Aquilion large bore scanner that is utilised in the planning of radiotherapy treatment. At the Spire Specialist Care Centre the Monaco 5 dosimetry planning system is used to design and produce radiotherapy patient specific plans.
Radiotherapy treatments are delivered on an Elekta Versa HD linear accelerator. This is the latest and most technically advanced Elekta treatment machine that will be used to deliver Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy, coupled with Image Guided Radiotherapy. These treatment techniques offer the optimum in radiotherapy treatment delivery whilst potentially keeping side effects to a minimum. The centre has excellent transport links with ample free parking and a relaxed reception area. Patients are cared for at the centre by a highly skilled dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

We understand that having friends or relatives attend with you for your radiotherapy can be comforting. Please feel free to bring friends or relatives with you. For their safety and yours they are limited to the areas they will be able to accompany you.
