Catherine completed her training at the Royal Marsden in 2001 and since then has gained extensive experience both in the NHS and international private radiotherapy practice. Catherine has worked as a Therapy Radiographer in a number of the London hospitals at senior levels and also worked in Sydney, Australia.
During Catherine’s experience over the past 13 years has seen her develop and implement new techniques to improve patient’s experience; utilising software to more accurately define treatment areas; supine treatment position for central nervous system tumours and developing improved methods for ensuring treatment accuracy through the use of cone beam CT and mega voltage imaging.
Most recently Catherine has completed her MSc in Oncology Practice at the University of London, gaining expert practitioner knowledge in IGRT, cancer management, advanced practice and research. Catherine has extensive expertise in radiotherapy pre-treatment, stereotactic radiotherapy, IGRT and IMRT. Catherine is the Lead Superintendent at the Spire Specialist Care Centre and leads the team of professional radiographers and clinical support staff.
