Breast Implant Solution Clinic

27 July 2014

The Breast Implant Solution Clinic is a specialist consultant-led service for issues arising from breast implants.

Thankfully the majority of women who have breast augmentation or reconstruction are delighted with their results. However, some women feel that some improvement could be made but find it embarrassing to talk about. The Breast Implant Solution Clinic is a specialist service for women who are looking for another option after their initial surgery.

Challenges in improving results after breast implants requires many skills and are best managed by a dedicated, specialist team.

Our clinic is the first of its kind to offer the expertise of two consultants in a single consultation. You will benefit from the knowledge of an oncoplastic breast surgeon, Mr Steven Thrush, and a plastic surgeon, Miss Joanna Skillman.

This approach has the unique advantage of discussing all the options with you at the time of the consultation, meaning a comprehensive and personal treatment plan can be developed. You can also be sure that you will be treated with the utmost sensitivity and provided with premium quality care. Miss Skillman and Mr Thrush are highly respected in their fields. Both teach on advanced breast surgery courses at the Royal College of Surgeons of England, have published many articles on breast surgery and have produced national guidelines. Breast surgery is the primary interest of both surgeons who strive for optimum results in all their patients. The clinic is supported by a specialist breast/cosmetic nurse and a breast imaging specialist.
