Mrs Rebecca Meehan has been practising as an Orthoptist since 1988. She trained for her Diploma of British Orthoptics at The Birmingham & Midland Eye Hospital, and later gained her Honours degree in Health Sciences at Coventry University. She has previously worked at Sandwell Hospital and The Birmingham & Midland Eye Centre and has been practising as Advanced Orthoptist at Worcestershire Royal Hospital since 2003 where she is also County Lead for Primary Screening.
Mrs Meehan has expertise in all areas of ocular motility, binocular vision, amblyopia (lazy eye) and strabismus (squint) including: Paediatric squint and lazy eye, Adult squint, Neurogenic disorders, Mechanical abnormalities, Metabolic disorders, Auto immune disorders. Mrs Meehan is registered with the Health Professions Council and is a member of the British and Irish Orthoptic Society.
