Amit takes to the mountains for charity cash

11 August 2017

Amit will be part of a team cycling from Venice in to the Dolomites – a mountainous challenge of more than 600km – for Small Steps, a charity which helps disabled children and their families.

Keen cyclist Amit, a physiotherapist at Spire Parkway Hospital, says that money raised this year will be split between Solihull Special Needs Children’s Association and the Chandratilak Vidyamandir Society which is funding a school in for the children of tribes in a densely-forested area of Chattisgarh, India.

“This year is going to be a tough challenge, taking us through some very mountainous regions, but we’ve all been training hard so we are confident we will all do well – and have some fun along the way,” said Amit.

“Most importantly we hope it is going to raise a lot of money for two great causes.”
