Back to topI am a graduate of Imperial College School of Medicine, London. I completed my specialist training in trauma and orthopaedic surgery within the West Midlands Deanery. Here I developed a specialist interest in arthroscopy, knee surgery and sports injuries. In 2008 I became a full member of the UK Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine. I was elected to the Fellowship in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery - FRCS (Tr&Orth) by the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2009.
I have completed advanced clinical fellowships in both sports medicine and reconstructive knee surgery at the prestigious Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto, Canada. These fellowships were recognised by the University of Toronto and the Arthroscopy Association of North America. During the fellowships I also gained valuable experience treating elite athletes from the NBA basketball league. I was involved with the London 2012 Olympic Games as a sports medicine doctor for Olympic basketball.
