Men are being urged to talk the talk and walk the walk, to highlight health issues that are causing thousands of premature deaths in the UK. It is part of this year’s Movember campaign, where men grow moustaches to encourage awareness of killer diseases such as prostate and testicular cancer as well as poor mental health.

This causes a foreign body reaction and can result in pain, redness, swelling, infection and hyper granulation tissue. What is a cataract? A cataract is a cloudiness or opacity in the normally transparent lens of the eye. This is a natural ageing process that occurs in all eyes usually over the age of 60 years. Results of a new survey carried out for The Urology Foundation (TUF), has revealed that 70% of people in the UK do not know from which age a man should be tested for prostate cancer and that only one in five men aged 18-24 have checked their testicles for lumps in the last year!
