I am a consultant dermatologist, dermatological surgeon and Mohs surgeon. I specialise in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment by Mohs surgery and in non-surgical methods such as PDT (Photodynamic Therapy). I also specialise in Acne.
I worked at the Dermatology Department QMC for 11 years and have worked at the Nottingham NHS Treatment Centre since 2013. I trained in Mohs micrographic surgery for facial skin cancer in the USA and have trained 8 Mohs surgery Fellows.
I am currently Honorary (consultant) Assistant Professor, University of Nottingham. I was awarded the Surgeon of Steel by the British Society for Dermatological Surgery.

I enjoy cricket, photography and travel. I have been screening the Nottinghamshire County Cricketers' skin for the past ten years. Previously with two of my patients I set up Skcin, the Karen Clifford Skin Cancer Charity.
