I am a high volume cataract surgeon performing over 700 cataract operations per year at Spire Norwich Hospital, Norfolk & Norwich Hospital and Cromer Hospital. Pre-existing refractive errors (long sightedness, short sightedness and astigmatism) can be corrected at the time of cataract surgery and reduce the need for glasses following the operation.
