Specialises in
Virtual consultations:
I originally qualified as a general obstetrician and gynaecologist and spent a further two years sub-specialising in gynaecological oncology. Having developed the use of laparoscopic surgery for women with gynaecological cancer, I apply this technique to women with ovarian cysts and those requiring hysterectomies for benign conditions.
Norwich is now the most advanced laparoscopic centre in gynaecology in the East of England. My interests are the link between ovarian malignancy and infertility, precursor lesions to ovarian cancer and vulval cancer.
I was a Member of the Scientific Committee at the British Gynaecological Society Meeting in Portsmouth 2000. Prior to this I was a clinical Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Royal Free and University College Medical School.
I have published and lectured in gynaecological oncological issues. Recent publications include topics related to endometrium, vulval and ovarian cancer. I remain committed to teaching and research, participating in several national as well as regional trials.
