Dr Leisa Freeman

I trained in medicine at the University of Birmingham Medical School and did my postgraduate training in London at University College Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital and the National Heart Hospital before moving to Norwich in 1991. I became clinical director of cardiology in 2005.
My research was into emotion stress and the heart and I have published many papers and chapters in textbooks. I recently published a self-help book on heart disease called "Your Heart and You", (Elizabeth Wilde McCormick and Dr Leisa Freeman).
