Dr Mull was mainly educated in Germany and graduated from the Johann-Wolfgang Goethe University, Frankfurt/Main in April 1990. He trained in Anaesthetics in England (South-coast) and Germany, and qualified in 1998. In February 2006 Dr Mull joined the James Paget Hospital as a Consultant Anaesthetist. As his job plan is very variable he has been able to maintain his clinical skills for a variety of surgical specialities.
Since the summer of 2006 he is the 'Lead of Equipment' and has been able to purchase and introduce essential equipment. He issues a monthly electronic newsletter to inform all relevant groups of any changes regarding anaesthetic equipment.
For the Obstetric Anaesthetists Association (OAA) Dr Mull has translated their booklets 'Pain Relief in Labour' and 'Caesarean Section-Your Choice of Anaesthesia' in to German and they are available for the general public to view on their website.
Spire Norwich Hospital is only able to provide COVID-19 tests to patients undergoing surgery at our hospital. COVID-19 testing or antibody tests are not available as a standalone service.

Dr Mull enjoys sports especially swimming, tennis, squash and skiing in the winter. Some time ago he took up golf, although his handicap remains off the scale.
During medical school Dr Mull coached his local football club's junior squad (age group 6-8 years). Dr Mull speaks German, English and Hindi.
