Nicola qualified in 2000 from the University of Birmingham and began the first two years of her career in the NHS at the University of Birmingham Hospitals Trust. She specialised in musculoskeletal out-patients and orthopaedics/trauma in 2002 and at this stage moved into private healthcare. Prior to working at Spire Murrayfield Hospital, Nicola spent two years working at the Priory Hospital in Birmingham. Alongside this she also gained experience working with students from a school of ballet and was a club physio for a rugby team.
Nicola specialises in musculoskeletal out-patients and post operative rehabilitation. Her clinical interests include knee and shoulder injuries. She is also qualified in acupuncture treatment and has completed her Matwork level 1,2 and 3 in Pilates under APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute). She instructs two pilates classes per week in the Physiotherapy Department.

Nicola enjoys spending time with her family and has two children. She also enjoys keeping fit and, alongside her pilates, enjoys running and swimming
