Professional profile

I have been a Consultant Radiologist for 9 years specialising in gastrointestinal radiology. I am a gastrointestinal lead working within multi disciplinary team meetings for colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel and pelvic floor disease. My particular interests are in lower gastrointestinal pathology which has included published research in anal fistula disease. I am involved with clinical trials and have published research on anal fistula mapping which has included international presentations.

I specialise in CT and MRI cross sectional imaging. I also perform fluoroscopic contrast procedures for assessment of the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract, pelvic floor disorders, general ultrasound including dynamic hernia assessment and plain film reporting.

Before training in Radiology, I completed basic surgical training in surgery obtaining AFRCSI qualification. I am a member of the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) having obtained FRCR qualification. I am a member of the General Medical Council (GMC).
