Professor Lennard Funk

Consultant Shoulder Surgeon

MBBCh, MSc (Engin), FRCS(Tr&Orth), FFSEM(UK)

Specialises in

I have been a specialist shoulder surgeon since 2002, with particular interest and experience in complex soft tissue and sports shoulder problems.

Over 40% of my practice is tertiary referral and second opinions, with a large proportion of elite and professional athletes. I offer a full multidisciplinary service with one-stop clinics for frozen shoulder and ultrasound scans. I take pride in providing patients with information to empower them in their decision making via and our leaflets, booklets and MyRecovery App.

My most common operations and numbers performed (as of February 2017) are arthroscopic shoulder stabilisation / labral repair, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, latarjet procedure and AC joint reconstruction.
