Before joining Spire Manchester I previously worked at Royal Manchester Children Hospital for 3 years as a ward manager, caring for children who require long term ventilation, and/or neurology rehabilitation following an acquired brain injury. I completed my BSC hons in 2011 and I am keen to further develop by completing an MSc in the future.
The majority of my nursing background has been working with children with complex health needs including long term ventilation, however my first ever nursing post was working on a day case unit caring for both medical and surgical patients.
I have a very keen interest in service improvement and development looking at innovative ways to continually improve the service we provide to our patients and families.
I am the Lead Paediatric Nurse and a member of the Spire Corporate Paediatric Steering Group.
