Mr Liam Donnelly
BSc (Hons), HCPC, CSP
I am a Chartered Physiotherapist specialising in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. I studied at Manchester Metropolitan University and qualified with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy. I worked for several years at the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust where I gained clinical experience in a number of specialties and undertook further professional development before specialising as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. I left the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust to take up a position as the Clinical Lead Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist at a large private sector company in the North West where I provided a service to organisations such as the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service and the Ministry of Defense. I joined the Physiotherapy team at Spire Liverpool Hospital in 2016.
I specialise in management of musculoskeletal conditions and have a particular interest in the rehabilitation of the lower limb. I provide the physiotherapy service for rehabilitation following postoperative knee ligament reconstruction surgeries. I also provide hand physiotherapy and offer a splinting service. I aim to provide a high quality clinically effective and evidence based treatment approach.
I am currently studying for a Masters qualification in Neuromusculoskeletal Healthcare at Keele University. I have a postgraduate qualification in acupuncture completed in 2010.
I am the Manual Handling Coordinator for Spire Liverpool Hospital.
BSc (Honours) / Manchester Metropolitan University / 2008
