Professional profile

I am a consultant plastic surgeon at the regional plastic surgery and burn unit Whiston Hospital, Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen Hospital, Liverpool. I was consultant plastic surgeon to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital from 1999 to 2011. I gave up this job when I was appointed as the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and become a Royal College of Surgeons of England tutor in plastic surgery from 2011 to 2014.

I maintain my teaching commitment as faculty member on plastic surgery training courses nationally and internationally and I am a trainer in oncoplastic breast surgery. I was nominated Whiston Hospital's 'Employee of the Year' in 2011.
