I have extensive experience in all aspect of gastroenterology, liver disease, endoscopy/colonoscopy/endoscopic ultrasound.
I trained in Merseyside and qualified in 1991 and was appointed as a Consultant Gastroenterologist in Blackpool in 2007 and subsequently moved to Aintree University Hospital in 2009.
I specialise in luminal gastroenterology, mainly in inflammatory bowel disease, nutrition, bowel cancer screening and advanced endoscopy, including endoscopic ultrasound.
I'm an accredited bowel cancer screening colonoscopist, treating conditions such as dyspepsia, irritable bowel disease, coeliac disease and dysmotility.
