Sports and exercise medicine clinic

Experts in sports injury and performance

Dr Gillett is a Consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine and has worked in elite sport including football, basketball and athletics for 20 years.

He brings this expertise and experience to his clinic which runs at Spire Little Aston Hospital on Mondays (1.30pm–8pm) and Wednesdays (10am-6pm) each week.

If you are experiencing a new or persistent injury or a performance issue that is affecting your sport and need to find a solution, then this is the clinic for you.  Dr Gillett will provide an accurate diagnosis and a management plan to get you back to doing the sport that you love.

Working with a multi-disciplinary team that includes a specialist musculoskeletal radiologist and sports physiotherapists, his clinic has the expertise required to provide an effective sports injury management service.

Who is this service available to?

This service is available to all people returning to sport from musculoskeletal injury even if their initial phases of recovery have been overseen elsewhere. It is also available to those who are not injured but want a training program designed to identify physical weaknesses (in terms of strength, flexibility and movement competency) and prevent future problems.
