Miss Ruth Harrison
BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy
I have been working as a Physiotherapist for the past 13 years, specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy for the last 10 years. I spent the first six years in the NHS, where I gained specialist experience in rheumatology, pain management, and A&E. I began to specialise in the areas of Pilates, acupuncture and fascial release when I moved into private practice.
I specialise in the physiotherapy management of musculoskeletal conditions, ranging from post-operative orthopaedic surgery to sporting injuries.
I have treated thousands of patients with musculoskeletal injuries/disorders or following orthopaedic surgery over the past 13 years in both NHS and private settings.
Spire Little Aston Hospital is only able to provide Covid-19 tests to patients undergoing surgery at our hospital. Covid-19 testing or antibody tests are not available as a standalone service.
BSc (hons) Physiotherapy / University of Birmingham / 2003
Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy)
BSc (hons) Physiotherapy is the qualification provided to physiotherapists on completion of their training.
I'm a keen traveller, and love travelling to places near and far to experience different cultures and ways of life. I'm also a culture enthusiast, and always make time to see music, art and film, in addition to being a bit of a bookworm. I enjoy long country walks and practice yoga regularly.
