Professional profile

I graduated from Oxford Medical School. I received my basic surgical training in the West Midlands and my higher surgical training in Trauma and Orthopedics in the East Midlands Deanery. I received my intercollegiate Fellowship, FRCS (Tr & Orth) and was entered on the specialist register in 2008. I undertook clinical Fellowships in lower limb joint replacement in Sydney and Melbourne.

I enjoy training junior surgeons, and was voted Trainer of The Year by the Birmingham branch of the British Orthopaedic Trainees' Association in 2014.

I specialise in lower limb surgery, particularly hip and knee replacement and knee arthroscopy.

I have over 900 hip and knee replacements entered on the National Joint register.
