Professional profile

I am a Consultant Neurologist at Little Aston, Parkway and at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham and Good Hope Hospital in Sutton Coldfield.

I completed my neurological training in 2006. I trained at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in London, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, Walsgrave Hospital in Coventry and Leicester General Hospital.

I have a special interest in multiple sclerosis and neuroinflammatory disorders. I have extensive experience in the use of disease modifying drugs in multiple sclerosis and I am a principal investigator in several multicentre clinical trials in multiple sclerosis at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.

In my private practice I treat patients with multiple sclerosis, headaches, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy and other neurological disorders. I inject Botulinum toxin for dystonia and migraine.

I also am interested in medico legal work and see medico legal clients on a regular basis.

Personal Profile

I am married and have three children. My favourite sport is tennis and I was fortunate enough to witness the Wimbledon men's final in 2001 and 2011. I also enjoys skiing.
