Professional profile

I qualified from University of Leeds in 1993. My post graduate medical education and training mainly was at The General Infirmary, St James University Hospital in Leeds and Bradford Royal Infirmary. I am a consultant gastroenterologist with an interest in endoscopy here at Spire Little Aston and also Good Hope Hospital NHS Trust in 2005. I was awarded Doctor of Medicine (MD) from University of Leeds in 2007 for his Thesis titled "Clinical Implications of Gastrointestinal Epithelial Dysplasia in Surveillance Programme". I have a major interest in all aspects of endoscopy, especially therapeutic and detection and treatment of early gastrointestinal tract cancer. I also holds an honorary senior clinical lecturer post with University of Birmingham medical school and am an accredited screening colonoscopist for the NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Programme.
