Surgical treatment of Endometriosis including surgery in conjunction with a bowel surgeon for extensive endometriosis.Treatment of menstrual disorders, heavy and painful periods. Laparoscopic surgery including laparoscopic hysterectomy and tubal surgery. Surgical removal of Uterine Fibroids, operative hysteroscopy including removal of fibroids, uterine septum and division of intrauterine adhesions.
I have over 25 years experience in Gynaecology with more than 10 years experience and expertise in reproductive medicine and surgery. I specialise in the surgical treatment of endometriosis and laparoscopic surgery and hysteroscopic surgery including resection of sub mucousal fibroid or polyps, removal of uterine septum and the division of intrauterine adhesions. I have much experience in the management of menstrual disorders including heavy periods, PMS, painful periods and pelvic pain including laparoscopic adhesiolysis and tubal surgery. Expert in laparoscopic hysterectomy and removal of ovarian cysts.
I specialise in reproductive medicine and surgery including investigations and treatment of sub fertility. I am an expert in all methods of assisted conception including IVF, IUI, ICSI, egg donation and ovulation induction. I am the clinical lead of endometriosis service at the University Hospitals of Leicester. I have considerable expertise in gynaecologic laparoscopic surgical procedures and the management of recurrent miscarriage and infertility.
Over the last 25 years, I have performed more than 1,000 gynaecologic procedures including abdominal hysterectomy, myomectomy, removal of ovarian cysts, vaginal repair, hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery. I have performed approximately 1,000 cycles of IVF/ICSI and more than 200 laparoscopic procedures for endometriosis.
I am the clinical lead of assisted reproduction and endometriosis at University Hospitals of Leicester.
