I have been a consultant orthopaedic surgeon since 2004 and I am expert in hip and knee surgery. I perform replacement joint surgery, soft tissue joint repair surgery and revision arthroplasty surgery with excellent outcome based on current British joint Registry data. I was awarded the 2013 inventor of the year by Cambridge University for my new minimally invasive hip surgery approach. I developed hip soft tissue surgery for young patients in Peterborough area.
I specialise in general orthopaedic surgery with specific interest in hip and knee surgery, I perform primary and revision arthroplasty joint replacement, hip and knee arthroscopic surgery treatments and general trauma.
To date I have performed thousands hip and knee replacements and carried out over thousands arthroscopic procedures over many years of practice in both NHS and private practice. I perform on average 180 hip replacements, 190 knee replacement, 400 knee arthroscopies, 50 hip arthroscopies and 150 hip soft tissue minimally invasive soft tissue surgeries annually.
I am a member of the following committees - Drug Formula at Peterborough City Hospital, Blood transfusion, Research and Audit Committee.
In addition to my clinical work, I am an examiner at Cambridge Medical University and a medical interviewer at Leicester Medical School.
