I am a benign gynaecology consultant with specialist accredited expertise in urogynaecology. I am an expert in vaginal prolapse, urinary incontinence and laparoscopic (keyhole) surgeries. I have specialist knowledge and skills in managing refractory over active bladder cases.

I have performed numerous vaginal and benign gynaecological surgeries, such as vaginal hysterectomy, prolapse surgery, laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy, total laparoscopic hysterectomy and also surgeries for urinary stress incontinence including laparoscopic colposuspension. In addition I have performed hundreds of cases of cystoscopy and injection treatment under local anesthetic and also both diagnostic and therapeutic hysteroscopy.

My thorough explanations of clinical findings and treatment options available are intended to be very insightful, enabling patients to make well informed decisions about their treatment. I have successfully performed vaginal prolapse and incontinence surgeries including laparoscopic colposuspension with excellent outcomes. Additionally I performed various benign gynaecological laparoscopic surgeries including total laparoscopic hysterectomies with rewarding results. I have received wonderful feedback from my patients over the years.

I qualified from Damascus University in 2003. I have received structural training in obstetrics and gynaecology for seven years in the Yorkshire region. I underwent accredited advanced training in urogynaecology which includes vaginal and incontinence surgery working in a tertiary center at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. I also completed an accredited advanced training in benign gynaecology which covered open and laparoscopic surgeries and hysteroscopic procedures. Throughout my training years I obtained wide knowledge and skills on managing all urogynaecological and gynaecological cases.
